I totally agree with your idea about a teacher needing to have passion to become a leader. Without passion, one does not put his or her whole being into the process. Those who get into the teaching profession because of the summers off or the hours is not the type of teacher I would want my children to have. There is a difference between someone who teaches and a teacher.
